Information Technology Intern
We are looking for new Information Technology Intern to assist with end-user support on hardware (desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices/telephones) and software. The intern will gain valuable entry-level professional experience working in various capacities. Ideal candidates should be excited to learn about new technologies.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Ensure all actions are consistent with RMSF’s values, mission, and strategic business objectives
Under staff guidance, perform computer imaging, staging and installation.
Initially provide front line phone, remote and desk side problem triage and resolution for end user devices including workstations, phones, and peripherals
Respond to user issues in a timely, effective and professional manner, occasionally escalating to and working with other support teams
Maintain and update support tickets and related technical documentation in the service management system
Support and participate in technical projects as needed
Assist in the maintenance of IT standards and documentation.
Under the guidance of staff, inventory technology equipment and software to aid asset management.
Perform other related duties as required.
Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, or Computer Science.
Experience using Microsoft Windows 7 and 10
Experience using Microsoft Office
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
High comfort level with operating systems & network communications
Knowledge of cloud environments is a plus
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Interest/commitment to working in startup environment
