RMSF Corp is owned and operated by 4-bootstrappers trying to protect the company’s vision. We began in 2016 and have poured roughly $200,000 of our own money into this tech startup. We are focused on science to power smart transformative technologies that improve lives. Unlike other well-known startups, we are not beholden to angel investors, venture capitalists, or other major funders with their own agenda.
THE RMSF STORY
In 2016, RMSF Corp was created as a result of a vision of a more seamless world where consumers have greater control over their everyday life. Today, after observing years of consumer trends, we are more certain and motivated that the future is seamless integration of less invasive technology which is the core focus of RMSF. However, our little operation has come to a halt.
We have had the opportunity to grow faster and accept investors. But that would have meant giving up significant control of RMSF which we aren’t willing to do at this stage. As we have seen, Big Tech companies have acquired most of their smaller competitors, and as such, stifled innovation. In today’s environment of COVID and Big Tech’s control of information, startups and small companies suffer. In line with our values, RMSF has built an independent model for funding our operations by raising funds.
WHERE ARE WE
So far, we have done boots on the ground research and outlined potential applications and industries for the company. We have found that a common problem is the frustration of everyday living which involves carrying “stuff”. Each day, we are burdened with carrying laptops, bags, keys, credit cards, and anything else that is supposed to make our day easier. What if, there was a way to eliminate having to carry so much stuff. Life could be a little less stressful and easier to manage.
Now, we are at the stage where we need funds to validate our ideas and develop a prototype.
THE FUTURE
With our grit and determination, we plan in the next 90 days to partner with a university, rent lab space, and submit patent applications. RMSF must move to the next phase and needs to hire additional pairs of hands, and this is where your help comes in. Helping us reach our goal positions RMSF where we can engage and grow our community.
