Research Associates & Interns
We are looking for new Research Associates and Interns who can collect, organize, and analyze datasets. Interns will gain valuable experience authoring organizational reports and contributing to consulting projects. Ideal candidates should be excited to learn about new technologies.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Ensure all actions are consistent with RMSF’s values, mission, and strategic business objectives
Conduct research and develop reports.
Participate in organizational meetings.
Organize and maintain accurate database entries of sensitive information.
Provide logistical support for community events, including planning and day-of event needs.
Maintain and draft content for social media accounts.
Draft documents, memos, and plan of action timelines as needed.
Provides administrative and project support to RMSF staff and other stakeholders at the direction and approval of supervisor.
Performs tasks to maintain community outreach efforts.
Develop measurable assessments for event feedback and attendee retention.
Develop professional soft skills to support career trajectory.
Strong interest for emerging technology
Be a senior or graduate student with prior work experience
Have relevant coursework in journalism, media studies, business, or financial analysis
Be highly organized and have excellent attention to detail
Outstanding time management – ability to set goals, prioritize and meet deadlines
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent online research skills
Experience using Google Drive and Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel
Experience with economic and financial models are a plus
Interest/commitment to working in startup environment
